Contrast

Just so you don't think my life involves dodging bullets or being in the kind of danger you probably associate with Kenya right now, here is a picture of what I did two weekends ago. It's a different kind of excitement...

i think it's safe to say most people don't get to ride an ostrich at any point in their life. way to be!

I noticed the second picture was Jessie-less. Was there a rodeo picture in between?

Hey cool pic. Is there an organization that you would recommend that is helping those in your community?

You are AMAZING.

I bet if we asked, they'd let us ride the ostriches at the alligator farm. Actually, I bet they'd let us ride the alligators too. Hmmm.

You are just one step closer to making it to the next round of Swiss Family Robinson try-outs. Start living in a tree and making dishes out to coconuts and you should be a shoe-in! ;)

Jessie Lynn - you are so stinkin cool. An Ostrich - wow. I just want to know - why all the guys around you in the first pic?

*grin* - you are loved and missed!

No, there wasn't a rodeo picture! And that is due entirely to the 3 extremely athletic men holding the ostrich at bay. See how the one on the left is leaning back to keep it from bolting? They say an ostrich's eyes are bigger than its brain, and I can't imagine those few brain cells do a great job of processing a human on its back... Training an ostrich isn't really an option.
